While yields were small, 2022 was an admirable follow-up to theoutstanding 2021 vintage. Winter rainfall was good followed by a hot December. Happily, a mild late-summer ripening period resulted in another long, slow vintage period where carefully considered decisions could be made. 20-30mm of rain in early February aidedin this by refreshing the vines prior to harvest. 2021 is highly regarded but 2022 looks to bea similar year in manyrespects and will give 2021 a run for its money
